Carolyn Ronchinsky is a Technology Associate with EDC’s Center for Online Professional Education, responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining online courses, websites, databases, and accounting systems for a wide variety of educational projects. Her extensive technical knowledge covers course management systems, Web and database development tools and protocols, client-server programming and scripting, web server platforms, and C/C++ and assembly programming. Most recently she has been developing websites using Drupal, an open-source content management system.
In addition to her technical knowledge, Carolyn has 12 years’ experience as a mathematics teacher, teaching all levels of Algebra and Geometry and contributing to professional development and technology integration efforts in her district. She has written and edited varied curriculum and educational materials including a geometry curriculum for the Department of Defense. Carolyn has a B.S. in Mathematics and Computer Science from the University of New Hampshire and an Ed.M from the Harvard University Graduate School of Education.
